Governing law: England & Wales
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the Service. It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Use. By using the Service you agree to this AUP.
2. General
You must use the Service lawfully, responsibly, and only for legitimate professional or business purposes. You must not use the Service in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or that has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect.
3. Prohibited uses
You must not:
Legal & rights
- breach any applicable law, regulation or code, or any contractual or fiduciary duty;
- infringe any intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy or other right of any person;
- upload, enter or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, abusive, harassing or otherwise objectionable.
Security & integrity
- gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, any account, server, or any system or network connected to the Service;
- circumvent, disable or interfere with any access control, authentication, security, usage limit or paywall;
- introduce or transmit any virus, worm, trojan, or other malicious or harmful code;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach any security or authentication measures, without our prior written consent;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable or disproportionate load on the Service or its infrastructure (including denial-of-service activity).
Automated & extractive use
- use any robot, spider, scraper, crawler or other automated means to access, monitor, copy or extract the Service or its content, except a public search engine operating in accordance with our
robots.txt; - systematically retrieve content to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, database or directory;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, formulae, calculation methodologies or underlying logic of the Tools, except to the extent this restriction cannot lawfully be excluded.
Misrepresentation & misuse of output
- present, publish or certify any Output as approved, certified, independently verified, or as the professional advice of EI Portal Ltd or any individual;
- remove, obscure or alter any notice, disclaimer, attribution or branding;
- resell, sublicense, rent, or commercially redistribute the Service, the Tools, or access to them, except as expressly permitted in writing;
- misuse the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it, or interfere with anyone else's use of it.
4. Engineering responsibility
The Service is a professional aid. You must not rely on Output without independent verification, and you must not use the Service in a way that puts safety, compliance or third parties at risk. See the Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability.
5. Your inputs and submissions
Any data you enter, and any feedback or message you submit, must be lawful, must not infringe any third-party right, and must not contain confidential information you are not entitled to share. You are responsible for your inputs.
6. Consequences of breach
If we reasonably believe you have breached this AUP, we may take any action we consider appropriate, including: issuing a warning; suspending, restricting or terminating your access or account; removing content; disclosing information to law enforcement where required; and taking legal action. We are not liable for action taken in good faith in response to a breach.

8. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version.
