This policy takes effect when paid subscriptions launch. No paid plans are sold today.

1. Summary

1.1 In summary:

• 14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid subscription.
• Cancel any time — your plan simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
• Renewal charged in error, or charged after you tried to cancel? Tell us within 14 days and we'll refund it.
• Nothing in this policy reduces your statutory rights.

1.2 Defined terms. In this policy, "Service", "Tools", "Output" and "Content" have the meanings given in clause 2 of the Terms of Use, as in force when you use the Service. If any of those meanings conflicts with an express provision of this policy, this policy prevails, as clause 1.4 of those Terms provides.

2. Subscriptions and renewal

2.1 Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Payment, receipts, renewal notices and the buyer portal described below are provided by Paddle.

2.2 Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly or annually and renew automatically at the end of each billing period. Paddle sends you a reminder before each renewal.

2.3 You can cancel at any time from the Paddle buyer portal linked in your order confirmation and receipts, or by emailing info@eiportal.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep full access until then, and no further payments are taken.

3. Refunds

3.1 First purchase — 14-day guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription, contact us within 14 days of the first payment and we will refund it in full.

3.2 Renewals. If a subscription renews and you did not intend it to — for example you missed the reminder or attempted to cancel — contact us within 14 days of the renewal charge and we will refund that renewal in full.

3.3 Mid-period cancellations. Beyond clauses 3.1 and 3.2 we do not normally give partial refunds for unused time in a billing period — cancelling instead stops the next charge. We may make exceptions at our discretion (for example, billing errors or extended service failure).

3.4 Annual plans. The same rules apply: 14-day guarantee on the first payment and on each renewal; otherwise the plan runs to the end of the year already paid.

3.5 Refunds are returned to the original payment method by Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record, once we have approved them. How long the money takes to reach you is determined by Paddle and by your bank or card issuer, and is outside our control.

4. Consumers

4.1 The Service is sold for business and professional use. If you nonetheless deal with us as a consumer, you may have statutory cancellation and refund rights (including under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015) that apply in addition to this policy, and nothing here limits them.

5. Free tier and beta

5.1 The free tier and invite-only beta involve no payment, so no refunds apply. Participation in the invite-only beta is governed by the Beta Programme Terms.

6. How to request a refund or cancel

6.1 Email info@eiportal.com from the email address you used to buy the subscription and, for refunds, tell us the payment date. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
